How it started & Behind the name
In 2018, Miles Cooper (Founder & CEO) became a cycling instructor. And while there was a lot to love about his new role—the flexibility, being outdoors, being able to talk about bikes, a lot—it quickly became clear that there were significant problems too. The industry was fragmented. Knowledge wasn’t being shared between instructors. And cycle training itself was little known, and not always taken seriously.
It’s early days but Frame is already working to create more cohesion in the industry and promote cycling training not just as a worthwhile career, but an important, aspirational one. We’re bringing the people together through events and training, and telling everyone about it.
And yes, Miles still talks about bikes, a lot.
We wanted to choose a name that reflected our view of the people who work in the cycle training industry because we believe their integral to its success. We searched for the "most important part of a bike" hoping to find some obscure bolt with a French sounding name. To our surprise- Frame was born.
